Painted the cottage

So far I have just added a grey wash to the outside walls. It looks a bit dull to me, so I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what more to do with the color of the walls? How to paint it, color choice, tecniques, aging etc... I am going to make a garden in front of the house, so I guess that will make it look more interesting.

  1. Hei

  3. You could use diluted acrylic paints and highlight areas showing the different types/shades of stonework. Perhaps add a little green round the bottom of the cottage to simulate moss?
