Re-done living room at the Inn

This is one of the two living rooms at the Inn. I had painted the walls dark brown, and the plan was to add a lot of decorative mouldings, and make it sort of a Whitledge-Burgess inspired room. But I just never felt comfortable with the dark colors, and I couldn`t find furniture that looked right for this room.

So I decided to change it! I bought sheet panels for the walls from Northeasternscale Lumber, and painted them white. I made the chandelier, and the furniture is Bespaq. The room isn`t done yet, but I like it better so far! :-)

Two new books

I just got these books in the mail from Amazon. I just love this book by Léa, the pictures are so amazing! And how fun with all the tutorials! I`m also looking forward to try making some of the food in Angie Scarr`s book.

A new sink

I bought the porcelain sink and faucet from Elf Miniatures as a kit, and I made the shelf using some tiny tiles that I glued on to a piece of wood. This is the bathroom on the top floor at the Inn. I have also made the bathtub (from paperclay) and the stairs around it.

More Louis Vuitton

I made this wallet (with money in it) and handbag with some Louis Vuitton printies I got from Lena.

I also have several other projects going on at the moment, but I don`t have much time to work on them, so it`s going pretty slowly... I am working on some flowers, some framed pictures, the tree in front of the cottage, the wizard, a shelf, a sink, re-doing another room at the Inn.... and that`s just some of it! I`ll show you as soon as I have something to show! :-)

I won these at our club meeting!

This is what I won in the lottery at our last dollhouse club meeting, a copper pot, some food, candy and books. Everything is made by Jane. Thank you so much! I especially like the two chocolates, they are supercute! :-)

Plant a tree!

I have begun making a tree in front of the Wizard`s Cottage. I found a tutorial by Betsie Treurnicht in a Miniature Collector magazine from 2007.

I used lots of wires to make the tree trunk, branches and twigs.

Next thing to do is covering it with paperclay...
