A napkin holder with some Swarovski crystals. I made this a couple of days ago. I am trying to make as many minis as I can during the holidays, soon I will have to go back to studying for my Bachelor degree.
And as this is the last day of 2009, I want to wish you all a happy new year! :-D

Ribbon box
Yesterday I made a ribbon box for my interior shop. I had the idea this fall when we went to London. We visited "Chocolate Society" and they gave me a choice of ribbon from a box like this for my Valhrona chocolate box. By the way, I highly recommend this shop if you are ever in London! You can buy Valhrona truffles seperately, so you can pick out your favorites only.

The evolution of a dining room
The dining room in my first dollhouse has gone trough several changes over the years. This is what it looked like in the beginning, almost ten years ago now...
Then I decided to redecorate the house and turn it into an Inn. I sold almost every single piece of furniture and miniature I had in this house and started fresh.
I bought this scrapbooking paper to use as wallpaper, and I installed wooden flooring.
But I thought the wallpaper was too bright and shiny, and the dark Bespaq furniture was...well... too dark!

Louis Vuitton hat box
I got a Louis Vuitton printie many years ago from Christel, and now I have used it to make a hat box. When I bought a refill for my full-size filofax, it came with a sheet of stickers that I used on the hat box. I scanned these before I used them, so if anyone wants them, just send me your e-mail address. :-)

MAKE bed
As I have metioned before, I joined a MAKE at All Things Mini. This is the bed I got in return from Minigirl. I made this bed for Marie. I just love swaps! :-D Thank you very much, Minigirl.

Lights in Victorian Cottage Jr
I have installed lights in my Victorian Cottage Jr. I still need more lamps in every room, but this is what I have so far.
You can hardly see the light in the kitchen, it didn`t turn out exactly as I had wished. There is a lightbulb behind the oven hood, above the stove. I also noticed that the light makes the ovenhood kind of see-through. So I`ll definitely need some more lamps to light up this room!

Lights on the tree!
Let it snow! I can`t believe how much snow there is outside! This really helps us get into the christmas spirit. It inspired me to invite the whole family to a spur of the moment christmas get-together tomorrow. I`m going to serve them rice-cream, gingerbread cookies and six different kinds of home-made chocolates and truffels, yum! :-D
Yesterday I wired the christmas roombox, I just love the tiny christmas tree lights!

December dollhouse club meeting
Earlier this week we had our monthly meeting with the local dollhouse club. We went to Tone`s home this time. We made christmas decorations and Tone served rice cream, kransekake and gingerbread cookies. I always look forward to our meetings, they are so much fun! I really enjoy getting together with all of these nice ladies who share my interest in miniatures.
This is what I made...

Not long `till christmas!
I can`t believe we got some snow! :-D I hope we get more, so we`ll have a white christmas this year.
My oldest son has decorated the gingerbread house. One piece of candy for the house, one for him, one for the house...
He has also put up all the little figurines around the house. I really like having this in our kitchen, love the smell of gingerbread cookies! Our own little edible miniature setting :-D
