Fabric basket, tutorial

Kathi wanted to see how the fabric baskets are made, and I have actually done a tutorial on them at ATM. Here it is:

You can make these in any size. This one is made with a piece of fabric that is 5 x 3 3/4 "
First you fold the fabric, the shorter ends towards each other. Then you sew along the side. Turn inside out halfway down, then sew along the bottom.

Press the bottom flat and sew across the fabric on each side, making two triangles of fabric. Cut these off.

Turn inside out. If you want to you can make a thin cardboard template to fit inside the bottom of the basket. Glue in place.

Fold down the top edges of the basket.
