This is what my dollhouse/craft-room looks like! It´s not big, but i love it! All my dollhouses are on the custom-made shelves on the right side, and I have two room boxes in the black cupboard. The desk and stool are vintage, inherited from my late grandmother. It has a glass top, so I can paint and glue stuff without worrying about ruining the wood finish.

The Victorian Cottage Jr is done!
My craft room/dollhouse room is finally up and running! And I have returned to the dollhouse hobby after several years "away" from it. I had a break due to full-size renovation of our house, and a new baby! He is one year old now, and I am still enjoying my loooong maternity leave.
Here are some pictures of my Victorian Cottage Jr as it looks today. If you click on the Victorian Cottage Jr tag, you can see the changes I made from earlier.

New house, new life
Since last time I updated my blog, we have bought a new house! For those interested I have a blog about the renovation, Mimmi's house. It's in norwegian, but it's mostly pictures. My boyfriend, my kids and I moved in last August, and since then we have been working on renovating the whole house. So far we have almost finished the top floor, and we are currently working on the main floor. The only thing left to finish on the top floor now, is the inside of my dollhouse room :-)
This is what it used to look like in the upstairs living room...
But then my boyfriend started building me a room for my dollhouses!
This is what it looks like now! Quite a difference! I am looking forward to finish the interior so that I can put my dollhouses in there, and unpack all my miniatures.

Visiting Paris
This August my friend Marlene and I went to Paris! We spent the weekend shopping, eating and sightseeing. When in Paris, of course I had to visit Lea's shop, Dentelles et Ribambelles at Montmartre.
At Montmartre I bought a tiny hand painted picture, top right, and some postcards with images from Paris that I am going to frame and find space for in my dollhouses.
Dinner at Helene Darroze. The food was amazing!
Hot chocolate and cakes at Laduree.
Foie gras and wine by Le Louvre.
Marlene is from Lyon. So nice to be in Paris with someone who speaks french a lot better than me!

Stokesay Ware nursery china
It's been a while since my birthday now, but I wanted to show you this lovely Stokesay Ware plate that my ex-husband gave me. I am a big fan of Stokesay Ware, I have some of their Jubilee gold dinner service, some of the Blue Willow tea set, jars from their Victorian kitchen ware collection, and some items from the Persian Rose wash set collection. Everything is so beautifully made, and looks so delicate and realistic. The best gifts come in small boxes!
